Let's Celebrate, It's All Right!

The other day I went out to the mailbox to get the mail, and this guy with an Obama campaign button (and hat) came up and asked what happened to *my* obama gear and did I need new ones.

I looked at him and said that I would never have put trash up on my fence or mailbox, and whoever did it for me was not only out of line but vandalizing my property.

I also said that if people like that is who Obama stands for then he doesn't need to be in office, period. Nevermind my political leanings.

The guy got pissed and started telling me all about the wonders of Barack Obama. Um, ok I get that you like him, but I don't like you putting his name on my stuff. Neither my aunt or I are even considering voting for him. Having his stuff put on our stuff without permission is just wrong.

Anymore I take my cell phone outside with me because my neighbors are whack jobs, and I do have the police dept. on speed dial. I think I call them more than I call my parents some times! LOL And I told him if he didn't get out of my driveway and stay OFF of my property I'd call the police. I had my phone in hand and I was dialing. He said that it was people like me that were sending the world to Hell.

Um, ok, no that's not true, we're all to blame for that - but seperation of church and state and all ;) I didn't get into it. The guy was just a loser whack job.

I seriously don't think all of Obama's people are like that at all. I mean we got them to quit calling and asking for donations, but this guy just wasn't getting it.

I so want to get an electric fence so the next time he puts a sticker on the fence he gets the message ;)

I love just about every town on the Kenai Peninsula, except for Sterling and Soldotna (they WISH they were as cool as they try to come off as)

"If it's tourist season, how come we can't shoot them?" Actually considering I work in the tourism industry of sorts... I guess they're the reason I can buy stuff

I have a garage lol but when I'm parked all day at the college it takes about 10-15mins

not seriously but I've ridden in a sled before

that's not roughing it. try a tent that has a broken zipper!
