Kurt makes me sinful...
Guess who is FINALLY watching Kurt Browning's Gotta Skate 6.0.... that'd be me. I finally found which tape it's on and now I am converting it to DVD... because if there was one show that must be saved for all time... it's the Kurt specials because they're freaking above the rest. That's right, I said it, Kurt is king of skating. Sorry Scotty - SOI comes second.

Anyway, I'm totally crushing on him hard. Yes, he's over 40. Yes he's old enough to be my dad (albiet a very young dad lol) and YES he's married with two beautiful little boys... but OMG that makes me love him more...

Is it sad that I want a guy just like Kurt - but who is a Christian? I honestly don't believe that guy exists at this point ha ha!

I love the little fluffy bit with Kurt and family sitting around the table and he's all about being dad to little Gabe. Too freaking cute (I'm ignoring the whole nanny issue at the moment. lol.) There couldn't be a more perfect couple than Kurt and Sonia...

okay, there probably is, but not tonight.

And, yes, I am officially crazy. Or at the very least bi-polar considering last night's post. Ha ha! But hey, Kurt and the gang makes me happy. That's what skating should be. Right there *points at Kurt skating on her TV* He's freaking fantastic. Screw Olympic titles, he doesn't need them. Considering the reigning Olympic Champion's "skating" and really most of the olympic men's champions or at least podium placers can't hold a candle to Kurt. I dare Ilia, Alexei, and Plushy to work as long and as hard and continue to grow as a skater and a performer.

And when they're 40 something have girls 18-20 years younger swoon over them like they're young adults! ;) AND have a smokin hot and talented wife and cute kids. HA!

I seriously need help, yo!

ETA - just for my sister

*hands over drool bucket, napkin, and paper bag* try not to make a mess on my journal, mm'kay?

Which one was 6.0? Was that the one with the Barenaked Ladies? I can't remember. I didn't see that one. I've seen the rest but that one I missed for some reason.

Of course my favorite of the Gotta Skates was number 3. One of Shae and Vic's final performanaces *SOB* and Brian Boitano. I WISH I'D SUCKED IT UP AND GONE!

yup the one with BNL... I think Kurt and the BNL go really well together. He had Ed as his guest star for the first show and that's still the best of the bunch (though 6.0 is really close it bestness)

I honestly wasn't a big fan of the third one... even though it had some great skaters and Michael Buble.. I dunno...

I loved the play between Kurt and Brian... but it didn't feel right for some reason. Brian and fun just don't mix well for me lol

Well okay so at the time, we had no idea that it was one of Shae and Vic's final performances because no one knew that Victor was being a douche.

I still think Morosov was the real reason for Vic being a jerk about the whole thing. I think he was like the rest of the world knowing that Shae'd end up hurt...

I've always felt he walked away because he just couldn't watch it anymore.

I do think that was a big part of it. I also think that he probably should have at least told Shae what he was doing and not just spring it on her without warning. Although a lot of mistakes were made on both sides in that little situation. I'm just glad they're friends again.

LMAO..I think I took their break up harder than they did. ;)

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Toni I love you! :-)

It's been a looooong time since I watched this entire routine. How amazing is the part at the end where he's skating to just the audience clapping? It's soooooo awesome!

Ah, "Nyah", the original bag/bucket/bib-worthy program. *sigh*

IIRC I think the first one the bucket came out for was Funky Music... or a Stevey routine ;)

OH. MY. GOSH. That icon! Evan! Hands in hair! *WHY* must you torture me with the unattainable sexiness? LOLOL

Seriously, I have no idea why I find that hot, but there you have it. It's like that moment from his Carmen LP. HOT. :-D
