Let's Celebrate, It's All Right!

and sometimes it's at break neck speed!

My friend Casey and her husband Dan emailed family and friends right before Thanksgiving that they were applying to adopt a baby girl. Then before the weekend was out they were chosen by the biological mother to be her baby's forever parents. Today, their little girl made her appearance in the world...

They lost Asher just a few months ago, and this couldnt have come at a better time! :) Congrats Casey and Dan!

Well, I guess it's time to talk about Duane's adoption... I have finally recovered for g'ma and then the party after Duane's day LOL

Duane's adoption was so boring. After all the crap we had to go through to GET to that point it was so boring that it was like "THIS is what we waited for??" But it was great after the Judge announced Duane was ours. We got our family picture with the Judge (my pastor took my camera and said "GET IN THERE NOW" so I had no choice LOL, then I almost didn't get the stupid thing back!) and he was so much more fun after the ceremony thing LOL

Mom. Tara. Kate. G'ma were all crying.. I was taking photos... and now I'm getting ready to update them (but don't mind the date on the pictures, the camera is weird)

Then at 5:30 we picked up a bunch of his friends and we went swimming. Or really, they went swimming. I hate getting under the water, but I wanted to swim after we got there...lol... I took photos but mom didn't know that I put the film in her purse so we're trying to find it now (she says it's not in there, which makes me nervous)

New Years was boring

and so it today...

6 days until Nationals

I don't have to worry about the holidays until next December (thankfully, though, it's at their house, so I can go home to Judy's whenever I want!!!)

Anyway, that's not what I'm going to dwell on today... because today is
DUANE'S ADOPTION!!! of which I am both FILMING and PHOTOGRAPHING!!!!!!! Yeah, I can multitask... maybe I can talk my parents into some cash(doubt it, but I can dream LOL)

that's at 2:30pm then at 6pm we're going to a swimming party... and my 'friend' came to visit today so I will be on the sidelines for that too... oh well... I will try to keep busy! :)

and then the g'parents leave tomorrow!! WOOT WOOT!!!!

Ok I have been so busy the last few days that I haven't had time to be online, and the Bittle's still have no phoneline so I don't know what's going on and I'm home so I can be online for a little bit LOL

anywho. Duane did well in court, mom was on the stand for an hour and twenty minutes... Duane's biological father is a jerk. It's amazing how Clay Aiken's interviews where he talks about his biological father parallel Duane's LOL. Clay come tell Duane it'll all work out in the end, the kid isn't sleeping well because of all of this ;)

Voted for John Stevens the other night, and I'm happy he made it :) And I'm happy with the overall results. Poor Clay was soooooo flat last night though.


I'm skipping photo tonight, I don't have a car to get to the area where we'll be photographing, and I just need this week off, so I am taking it. Next week is spring break baby! WOOT WOOT! and I'm all caught up in my classes, I feel so good about all of this! :) Erin and I are going to see the Passion tonight. I know I said I wouldn't go again because of the emotion, but Erin needs someone to go with her so we're going together... she's going to cry so bad. We were looking at pics from the movie in a book on it, and she was getting teary, it was kinda funny.

My puppies are both napping, not bugging each other... it's a miracle!

Anywho I'll take the survey and catch up with all my online buds!

several updates

first of all... I planned on doing lots of stuff for school online today at Kassy's house(the house I'm housesitting) ha ha ha. their phone is disconnected. so I called Mr. Bill who is incharge of their finance stuff while they're gone... yeah, no phone bill... sent one off a couple weeks ago with payment... the next one isn't even due until next month... so what the heck??? LOL oh well, we'll figure it out.

second. Duane testifies tomorrow at 9am my time... that's 10pm Calafornia time so back track for everywhere else for those of you wanting to set the time to pray. Duane is basically throwing up regularly because he's scared, but he's not going to back out, he's gotta do it, it's "his mission"... so keep him in your prayers, as well as my mom (parents spend all day in court today, find out dad isn't even needed for testimony, and mom isn't scheduled till tomorrow, whatever! LOL) Duane is not talking to me because I can't go(I wouldn't be allowed in the courtroom anyway as it's a closed hearing and I'm not needed) so yeah, I failed sister 101 AGAIN. So goes the story of my life.

thirdly... not sure how many of you know of the soap opera that is one of my good friends' life... but apparently her mom got a job that I looked into recently(and was told they weren't hiring! GRRR) normally I wouldn't be so upset, but this mom is just evil(so mush so she makes Speedy look like a saint! LOL). Anyway, she is the one who got a divorce from her husband last year and basically has caused trouble for her family and our church ever since. Well one of my other friends' dad went into the place she works at the other day and talked to her and then left after purchasing something. The next weekend his wife went in to see her, and they got to talking, well he walks in to say "honey lets go" and finds out that all of the employees there have been told that he and my friends mom have been getting it on... YUCK. Needless to say it's all rather funny now, but he's still very upset, and the lady's daughter(my friend) is mortified... parents can really suck sometimes

anywho I have to print out some stuff and read everyone else's journal entries... so I'll stop confusing you!
