Avalon in Concert
What do you get in a Dodge Grand Sport Caravan when you have 3 jr. highers, one senior high, one college student, and one adult? You get my trip to see Avalon in concert! LOL
The trip up started out really well. Josh, Jessica, and Elias sat in the way back and refused to let Jessica listen to the music she wanted to. Josh catterwalled Elvis for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT. I'm an Elvis fan, but lets just say Josh needs to look else where to find his talent! LOL
The concert was great. I'd never seen them in concert before and while it was shorter than the last couple of concerts, it was still well worth it. Greg and Jody are sooooooo funny. They just bickered back and forth the entire night. Greg and his wife (also a member of the group) had a baby 5 weeks prior to the show so she stayed home and they brought in a replacement. She was just as good adn blended well. IT was so much fun! :) And let me come out to say GREG LONG IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE! LOL I bought 2 CDs : "The Best of Avalon" (by the time I got to the table The Creed was gone *sigh*) and Jody McBreyer's "This is Who I Am" CD. Love both.
Josh, Kassy, Jessica, and Nickey all went on stage and got the group's water bottles and Josh got their "order of music" really cool! They then got them autographed. I left my camera in teh car thinking there'd be time to get it at intermission, but they didn't have one :(
anyway that's my avalon story... we got home at midnight so I have no clue what I'm doing up but whatever...
