In all my excitement...
over the last few days, I've forgotten to mention the awesome surprise Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov sent to me... it was an autographed picture and letter! :) They are so sweet. It was basically a thank you for the stuff I do for their site as well as the message board! :) They are soooooooooooo nice. I have it already in a protective sleeve in one of my binders, I'm just waiting for two 8X10 frames to put them in... I'm such a weirdo LOL
I just got an email from my friend Aaron. He's leaving this week to move away for good. The booger! Anyway... I've known him for about as long as I've known Erin... and well both of them are going to be leaving me and now I will have NO ONE on my side(not that they ever really were ;)) on things! LOL
Hey Toni!
How are you? I was so glad that you made it to the play. It was great seeing you. Sorry I didn't write back sooner, but I have been trying to get packed. I still have a lot to do, and I leave Wednesday. Yikes!!! It doesn't look like there will be a farewell get together for me. Sorry!
Are your parents still adopting Duane (sorry if I spelled it wrong)? When will it be finalized? He is lucky to have gotten you all as a family!
Well, since I probably won't be seeing you before I go---Goodbye. You are a great friend and fabulous human being. I will miss you! I all ready do miss you! I miss the plays and hanging out with everyone backstage. Well, goodbye and keep in touch. And always wear puffed sleeves to cover your branches. lol.

yeah that last sentence... he got brave... knows I can't kick his butt...
in case you're dying to know what it means. I played "Miss Stacey" in our high school's drama "Anne of Green Gables" (some of you may remember my talking about it in the old days of Skate Forum). Aaron played Matthew Cuthbert, Erin was the costume manager... it was fun times. Anyway, Miss Stacey is all the rage in teh little town because she wears all the latest fasions... meaning she had big poofy sleeves. I am not a dress wearer... and so Mrs. DeVolld couldn't WAIT to see me in the costume... It was PINK with HUGE puffed sleeves, and had a yellow apron... it looks GREAT on the video dad made... but I hated it! Then the next year we did "Wizard of Oz" which was a cool concept, but AOGG will always have a special place in my heart. Anyway, I played THE ENCHANTED TREE... and Aaron played the Scarecrow. So he got to pick on me backstage AS WELL AS onstage... at one point he had to poke me in the arm... he had such "good aim" that he hit the same spot every day for 3 months... which resulted in a huge bruise on my arm. He still brags about it!
So why am I rambling on and on? I don't know. I just don't like change, and I hate saying goodbye... and this one is a "hey I gave him a huge farewell hug last Sunday, that should count because I won't be seeing him off at the airport." It's crazy, he does need to get out of Kenai because he'll have better luck where he's going to become that famous actor he wants to be... but still. I DON'T WANNA BE THE ONLY ONE STILL IN ALASKA! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Anyway... I was only going to talk about Melissa and Denis... but then I got Aaron's email... so I'm going to run and hide now because Erin will make fun of me. LOL
