Haven't done anything exciting...

I've been doing my best to not get sick, but last night I was defeated. I don't have a full blown cold but I just feel incredibly run down. The three day migraine hasn't helped, either. It's managable today, though. Which is good, because I don't want to miss another one of Edgar's classes. haha!

We're currently watching Salvador in class, it is not a very good film, if you ask me. Personally if a film only uses the same three swear words and very little else, it's not worth watching. My paper on the film will probably not be very good. Then again neither was my paper on Outfoxed. And before you think I just defended FoxNews, I didn't. I can't stand the program either, but I hate that the people on the movie said that Fox is the only biased network out there. It's like the kettle calling the pot black. That the press tries to say they don't push one candidate or agenda over another is absurd. In a perfect world journalism would stay neutral but it NEVER HAS. Look at how the Revolution was started, or just about every war we learn about in school. It starts with some big wig deciding to take a side. Why else would celebrities keep pushing in the news about Darfur? Duh! The news influences people to think whatever way the news wants. We're just dumb enough to take them as truth.

That was the gist of my paper, I have a feeling I'm going to get a poor grade for the first time in his class because we don't agree on that. I have come to the conclusion that in order to get a good grade in journalism courses you have to blindly follow and agree with the prof or you won't get far. So it won't surprise me if Edgar is the same as just about every other prof I've had in that department. The only one I didn't have to worry about was Prof. Dillehey, but I haven't taken from him since that one class (I don't even know if he's still in the program!).

I also have no doubt the main topic of class will be Ted Stevens' concession yesterday allowing Begich to become our newly elected senator. Personally I am disappointed in my state's voters for two reasons. 1. we voted in Begich who is a moron (and I don't base that on his politics. the man is a moronic jerk who is only in it for the spotlight) and 2. we almost voted in a convicted felon. There was a perfectly acceptable third choice, IMO, and he was the one I voted for. Bob Bird would stand for Alaska and was not backed by a party or cause. Unlike Begich who allowed the very people he's promising Alaskans he will stand up against. Yeah. Right. Like they're going to pay for you to disagree with them. Fat chance of that.

Oh well. Six years from now we'll be sick of him (save for the church of Begich known as Anchorage) and we'll have someone replace him. Who it will be, who knows, but this is the first time in 40 years we've had two weak senators... Murkowski's just as big a joke IMHO and she's a "Republican". I quit! lol

I just called down to WDW this morning and paid off our balance. You may be thinking that we'd already did that, and we had, but with the new promotion they've got out (buy 4 nights at a resort and 4 days worth of park admission get 3 free) we were holding out hope for getting a Moderate resort - specifically the Coronado Springs. As you might have read in my last journal update. I am so very excited to be going there again. I told Erin she has to take a picture of me giving the resort a big hug. I've missed it. I could stay there every time and not feel like I was missing out on a thing!

Gaylord is home. Not sure why. Either he is checking up on me to see if I actually leave the house, or he keeps peeing his pants because he keeps having to come home to "change". I'm not sure that that is all about, but it annoys me.

It also annoys me that Judy borrowed a few of my CDs and I haven't gotten them back even though I've asked her about them. Then I get woken up at midnight last night because Gaylord is working on a stupid slide show or something and what's playing? Josh GROBAN... and it's MY CD. All you have to do is ASK, but it's really annoying that she leant MY cd to him without even asking me when she knows I've been looking for my CDs. I have use for those disks too! BLAH.

Yes, I'm a selfish little brat, but I'm just asking for a little bit of respect. Though, I haven't been the best of buddies with either of them as of late. I'm getting really tired of Gaylord trying to be the "man of his domain" and telling Judy and I what to do. He hit the roof the other night when Judy snow blowed the drive way. He said he'd do it. Yeah, well, it'd been four days since it snowed and you still hadn't gotten off your fat duff so sit down and shut up. He started yelling at me that I should have done it before Judy did. Um. I was in class when she did it. And YOU kept saying that it was YOUR job. So I stayed out of it.

Apparently he doesn't get enough jollies or something or he'd shut up and leave me alone.

He also decided it was his duty to tell me I was spending my money unwisely and that I was an ungrateful person to use my parents money in the way I was. Meaning - I shouldn't go on this Disney trip (Judy wants to go on one with him and he isn't into the idea). I got REALLY snotty with him and told him that it was MY money and ONLY my money that I was using on this trip. I worked VERY hard this summer to get it (ok so not VERY) and I saved it FOR THIS PURPOSE. I also got permission from my PARENTS (even though I am 23 and therefore an adult that does not NEED it, I still ask for it) and JUDY (whom I still owe for the last trip). I paid off a vet bill, a dentist bill, and a couple of other things before I booked the trip. AND then there's the check that came in September from the State of Alaska that was over 2,000 big ones (plus 1200 energy check). That was MY money, not my parents. I'm not using money from school or anything. I said if anything Judy was the only one who had right to say I needed to give HER the money and not go on the trip.

Then he tried to be her proxy and suggest that's what I needed to do. Considering JUDY was the one who said I should do it if I could afford it at the beginning of the summer, I knew that was crap. And if she DOES truly feel that way she should come out and say it. She's looking forward to 12 days of just her and Gaylord in the house with the dogs. She hasn't been this excited to be rid of me in a while (which kinda hurts), so I somehow doubt she'd be happy if we canceled this trip and I gave her the money.

Then Gaylord plays the wounded dog card about how he doesn't know how to get me to like him and sends Judy to make things right. How about stay out of my buisness and stop trying to be all controlling? I'm a bull headed REITTER. We don't take other people's crap lying down. You are not the one that is 'over me'. I am not your daughter, nor am I your wife (EW). I don't need to be submissive to you. so stuff it.

Isn't it amazing that I can make such a long entry when I have nothing of interest to say. I should just stop talking. ha ha. so I will. Have a nice week everyone (since it's almost over!)

I am a Christian.

Flo - sorry for going all ranty in your journal entry. I know you didn't need to hear me vent... but it got my blood flowing big time so I'll continue it in here... I'm warning you all now. These are my opinions, take them or leave them. I know of only one or two people on my flist that will even try to agree with me on this, so I know I'm not popular in my thinking. But I haven't been popular since grammer school

I am a Christian. Southern Baptist by denomination, but at the end of the day my relationship is with Jesus Christ, what denomination I am a part of is pretty much irrelevant.

Being a Christian does not mean I am incapable of forming a well educated opinion or preference. I was raised to educate myself on the facts of an issue, and then weigh it against the Bible. The constitution never said that I could not or should not vote my religious beliefs. The Constitution was protecting the CHURCH from GOVERNMENT. They did not believe a political establishment should have reign over the body of believers. They didn't want a "Church of England" fiasco. They wanted to freely worship their God without worrying about having to be 'politically correct.'

It is my RIGHT to worship, practice, and believe as I do. To ask me to chuck it out the door when I enter the polling station is wrong and not American. I don't ask a Muslim, Hindu, or other religious group to do it - why am I the one that gets singled out because of MY beliefs?

I am a Christian. That doesn't mean I'm a bigot, racist, gay basher, abortion clinic bomber. I believe the Bible is 100% true and accurate. It does not contradict. It is the Word of God. I take it to be litteral. That means there are certain things that just aren't done. I don't make exceptions for "Christians" who do the "equibilant Christian sin" and I don't judge. I do vote for the Biblical principles. It's not popular, I get that, but I'm not doing it out of hate.

Believe me, if I could - I would. But I take my relationship, my "religion", seriously. If I have to choose between America or God, God wins EVERYTIME.

As a Christian American I am very proud to be in this country. We have - somewhat - religious freedoms that a lot of the World doesn't. I don't believe we had a perfect 8 years with Bush, I don't think he did everything the "Christian way" and I didn't vote for him just because he hung a cross on his wall. I don't know him personally and so I cannot judge him and say he is or he isn't. Just as I cannot with McCain or Obama - I have my opinions, but I cannot come out and proclaim them one way or the other.

In the last 48 to 72 hours I have seen a LOT of hate spewed my way because I'm a whining conservative Christian who wanted to vote in hate, war, and death. No, I'm not. I do stand behind what I said about America getting what she wanted. I do believe that God allowed Obama to win. I do believe that this is all ordained. Jury's still out on why. I was called a bigot by multiple people yesterday for a bill's passing that I had nothing to do with. I was called a racist just for being an outspoken Christian.

So far the change I've seen in this country is not bringing hope or peace or union. All it's brought is hate, and judgement, and frustration. This is not Obama's fault, but it certainly brings out the true colors of some.

I am pro-life. This does not mean that I have all the answers on abortion. I know that the Bible says it's wrong, that a life is a life the moment it's concieved and that taking a life without just cause is wrong. In my finite mind I cannot fathom having to make that choice as a woman raped, or choosing one life over the other. But = Jesus' example of dying on the cross for me is enough for me to know that sacrificing my body, my earthly life, so my child could live. With rape I know what the good answer is, but I cannot in my 'right mind' feel qualified to have that answer. In a perfect world the answer would be simple - then again in a perfect world rape wouldn't happen.

Pro-Life also goes along with the war issue and the death penalty. For me I think if war is justified then it's one of those nessecary evils. Same with the death penalty. Those who have yelled at me about these issues over the last 8 or so years screaming God hates _____ are right to some extent, but he didn't exclude them from His plans, or his laws. I do believe that the Iraq war could have been handled better. I think on some level it would be justified (as did both sides of government before they voted against it) I don't think we went at the right time. The war in Afganistan needed to be fought, we should have focussed on that.

I don't think any politico has all the answers. The only place I've found that does is the Bible, and even then I don't understand everything I'm reading. The Bible says that I won't be able to until the end of days. I will support the President elect, and I will certainly pray for him. That God gives him the strength and wisdom to lead our country. I was told yesterday on a certain message board that I was not allowed to do that - because I didn't vote for Obama. Obama said that he would be my President too. I am not going to take up the same approach that so many did with Bush with the "not my president" campaign. Because that seems silly. You're in the country this man is leading whether or not you like him. I know there are quite a few angry republicans out there who have already started that. Ok, we all get angry when our guy loses. But I think for any leader to really succeed he needs to know he has support.

I know in the coming weeks, months, and years I will not agree with everything our new leader does, says, or puts forth. I haven't done that with Bush either. I'm weary of where my life will change. I worry about certain freedoms. Not so much because it's Obama but because of who controls DC now. I'll speak out with what I don't agree with - as is my right - but Barack Obama was voted in by the people, and he is the one chosen to lead for the next 4 to 8 years. He has my support and my prayers.

Dark Day for Alaskan Politics.

Senator Ted Stevens has been found guilty of all seven charges brought against him. I didn't vote for him - voted for Bob Bird - in this election, but you never want to see someone who has been a champion of your state for so long actually be GUILTY of cheating.

No doubt he'll appeal, but the end of his career is pretty much here.

Prayers go out to the Stevens family.

Have You Forgotten?

Today marks the 7th anniversary of one of the worst attacks on American soil. The World Trade Center, Pentagon, and small field in Pensylvania became the center of the entire world's focus.

We weren't Republicans or Democrats. We weren't Baptists or Catholics. We weren't black, white, or navy blue. We were Americans.

Every year I seem to tell the same story, so I won't do that right now. But I can still remember the feelings, the smells, and the sounds that I encountered that morning. Alaska was so 'far behind' in the grand scheme of things. While the East Coast woke to the towers burning, Alaska woke to the towers falling on repeat.

And home videos with people screaming profanities and disbelief.

And yet just seven years later we only remember it on one day. If that. President Bush is asking for a moment of silence, but UAA won't be observing it at all today. At least not to my knowledge. How soon we forget, how soon we don't care anymore.

Have you forgotten
All the people killed
Yes some went down like heroes
In that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten
About our Pentagon
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

"Obamy" don't like "Wasilly"

So I've been annoyed by Obama for the umpteen-bazillionth time. Was watching the Today Show this morning and they showed a clip of a CNN interview he had in the last few days about Alaskan Governor and VP nominee Sarah Palin and her lack of experience (oh, the irony!) and he kept referring to her home town (of which she was mayor not too long ago) as "Wasilly" as opposed to "Wasilla" which either means he doesn't truly care about the topic enough to research it. Or he's an arrogant jerk of a guy who KNOWS how to pronounce it and feels that it's not important enough or he feels the need to be insulting. Either way, it's unacceptable.

So much for him really thinking Alaskans were people worth talking to. Liar, liar, pants on fire!

Another thing that makes me cranky, Sarah is speaking tonight, but instead I have to take a crappy three hour class with a prof that makes NO SENSE whatsoever!

YOU. ARE. A. TOOOOY!!! T-O-Y, TOY!

So yeah ABC is showing Toy Story tonight and I'm watching it until CSI comes on in half an hour. LOL I lead such a productive life.

Actually today was pretty good. Went over to the church this morning and got right into work. Finished Moses and the Burning Bush, and drew David Slinging towards Goliath on another wall and almost have it completely painting. Mrs. Joy finished her cabinets, and got more paint on herself than on them. It was highly enjoyable... I was laughing so hard! LOL She totally cracks me up! That woman is amazing, but not when it comes to painting!

My feet really hurt, which just proves that I'm 1. overweight and 2. not going to be going for a full time standing job. LOL.

Can I just rant for a minute? I ranted about this on LJ but I figure I'd bring it here too. No worries it's not a political or religious rant. It's just a rant on hypocrasy lol.

We have 7 fires on the peninsula, one close to where I am, but not dangerously so. Needless to say there is A LOT of smoke. That is to be expected. The really surprising thing is how much smoke is also in Anchorage. While I understand that it hurts those with breathing problems/allergies, I am not mad at those people. I'm mad at the ones they are interviewing on the news. This one in particular is also interviewed whenever greenpeace needs someone to talk to them. This is where the hypocrasy comes in.

Forest fires are nessecery to keep the forests healthy. Right now most of the spruce down here are dead or dying due to an infestation of Spruce Bark Beetles. Because of politicians in DC we can not cut these trees down because that would "destroy" the woods (last I checked they were already destroyed) so the forest people are wanting to just let the forest fire go it's course and are only containing it as far as keeping it from jumping the river or getting any closer to homes.

The people of Anchorage are whining because their homes smell smokey. Big. Flippin. Whoop. This is a good thing for the environment. And this greenpeacer really ticked me off. She's whining that her "new carpet" would now forever smell like a campfire. If she really cared about the wildlife like she is always quoted as saying maybe she'd be happy that the dead spruce was going away and then later this summer we'd see new birches popping up so that the moose could feed in the winter and we'd have a healthy habitat again. But no, because it's inconviencing her and others, we have to stop the fire. So yeah, I'll just get right to flipping the "off" switch for the fire *rolleyes*.

My feeling is, if you want it gone get off your fat butt and come help contain the flipping thing. If CANADIANS (you all rock this week!) can find time to do it (and I KNOW you all aren't smelling our smoke) then ANCHORAGE-ITES certainly can! /rant

I so love Toy Story... LOL

"Buzz-Buzz-Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!"

"*gasp* I'm lost! I'm a lost toy!"

Ok so I am going to go hit some message boards and then I don't know what else

"Sheriff, this is no time to panic..."
"This is a PERFECT TIME TO PANIC!"

The Ban Was Officially Lifted Today... (political entry ahead)

So yeah I am a bad girl and I haven't been paying attention to the Southern Baptist Convention stuff, but it was just talked about on the local news so I figured I might want to talk about it.

After 8 years we are officially offing the ban on Disney. This does not surprise me as I think the ban was lifted several years ago just not officially. As everyone knows I'm a huge fan of Disney. I've been to Disney World twice, Disney Land once, and I own a lot of Disney crap. LOL I LOVE Disney. Do I agree with their stance on homosexuality. No. But I haven't banned my country either.

So I am happy to say that I am not "going against the Baptists" any longer. I agree that we should still watch out for what they are trying to fill our kids' heads, but I've never fully agreed with their ban. But that was mostly because I love Disney, not because I didn't think it was a right thing to do.

To read an article on it click here.

Go to the end of the article... UNLESS you want to read some quotes by my pastor on a seperate issue... it's cool. The issue at hand has him totally pissed off, so it's good to see him get quoted for it. I'm not sure if he's going to go with the story to the secular media or not... if they didn't do what he wanted he threatened to throw a major fit (in all honesty his feelings are valid... there are some secretaries of Board members with higher salaries than the profs at different Baptist colleges and he wants to know why...)

anyway that's all I want to say I have to print this out for dad, he's the pastor of the evening and people will want to see this! :)

Jun. 12th, 2005

So yeah I have nothing really to say...

but I can't seem to stop talking...

I am so sick of the liberal groups that feel like attacking one of their own, and one of my "career heroes." Steven Spielberg is being critisized this week because it's been 30 years since JAWS came out and it's "because of him and his movie" that there are fewer sharks and more shark killings. Because he "unfairly portrays great whites." I agree, Bruce was a pathetic excuse for a shark. LOL His rubber jaw, his fakeness. But it was the best special effects of its time. YES a lot of people are freaked out of the water/sharks because of that film. One of my friends mom's is deathly afraid of the water. But she was a young girl when she saw it. Not an adult. Grow up and realize shark fishing is fun for some. We're not fishing them because Spielberg told us to! *hugs Spielberg* Congrats on 30 years of amazing success in movie making, Mr. Spielberg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Green peace annoys me to no end. For crying outloud Spielberg's as bleeding heart as they come. I think he's cruel for portraying T-Rex as a meat eating monster! I should sue! LOL The stupidity of these claims is just so freaking annoying. I'm sure Alien Activists will be all over him for is portrayl of eville aliens in War of the Worlds. ;) Actually maybe all of them attacking him will make him realize he votes for the wrong side and he should turn Republican. Hey. I can dream ;)

ok so that's all I wanted to rant about... I leave you with the latest star wars quiz! )

oops, almost forgot, some of the quotes were not guessed yet:

2. "I'm your wife! I'm the greatest good you're ever going to get!"
7. "I've worn lots of shoes. I bet if I think about it real hard I could remember my first pair of shoes."
17. A: "We were baptizing Henry Clay." B: "Baptising Henry Clay?" A: "Yes. And he must have been awful bad, because it took two dunks to save him!"
18. "Like if you shoot yourself in the foot? Don't do it. You'd be dead before you realized you'd accidentally pulled the trigger."

The Grammys

someone please tell CBS their sound system still sucks

that being said. I'm all for freedom of speech and what not. And yes the song was up for several thousand nominations and what have you, but why did we need the whole "American Idiot" song? so much for brining the country together (but Hollywood is only interested in helping the world, not their own country... "Vote or Die" *rolleyes*)

I just found it completely tacky. Here we have a tribute to the Tsunami victims and then later to Ray Charles (why didn't they do "America the Beautiful" ? It's the only one that didn't even acknowledge it.) and then right smack in teh middle a hateful song. 8 years ago if a group sang a song like that about Clinton they wouldn't have made it on the stage, much less in teh nominations

yet they say our president has a closed mind... I think both sides are equal in the venom (no doubt I'm pissed now)... but at the same time, I wouldn't have enjoyed a "bash Kerry" song in February anymore than I enjoyed the "Bash Bush" song.

I'm pmsing, which could make for a good reason to be upset, but I don't think that's it... I just want to know why we have to be so tacky in these award shows... all I wanted to watch was Tim McGraw sing, was that SO much to ask?

I will give you credit, other than Gag-me Day, the Award show as not at all political when it came to speeches...

I guess they're all going to wait and bombard me during the Oscars! LOL

Queen Latifah (sp) rocks my socks, she is amazing. I love her!

Who is this Kayne West guy? I loved his acceptance speech. especially that last line.

John Mayer's "Daughters" song was interesting as well, and his acceptance speech was cute 'I still don't think it was the best idea for a single' too funny.

anywho I am going to take myself to bed... in a pissy mood. Totally against the Bible (ie "Don't go to bed angry") but I will watch some Fresh Prince[another liberal show lol, maybe I'll watch something else... oooo murder mystery marathon on Court TV...] and laugh and then fall asleep....

oh, and Flo, if you want to delete my reply feel free too. I was really needed to vent lol sorry if it ticks you off (I seriously can not be PC. I was not raised that way lol)

Pug hugs,
-Toni

Biased? Media? (joke)

Pastor Prevo told this joke this morning at church... a couple of sundays ago he got a lot of crap from people who didn't like his joke about Kerry so he did one on Bush ;)

Kerry and Bush were walking along the beach with the Pope. Suddenly a gust of wind knocked the Pope's hat off and it dropped far out into the water. Kerry immediately jumped in after it determined to bring the Pope's hat back. However the waves were carrying the hat out faster than he could swim and he had to turn back. He returns unsuccessful and apologizes to the Pope. Bush then decides to go after it and runs out over the water and retrieves that hat and brings it back. The next day the headlines read: "Bush can't swim".

X-posted all over.

Some Kerry supporters are going too far

there's a women's lib group in Pennsylvania who took it upon themselves to call families of service men and women serving in Iraq

"Mrs. (whomever) I'm sorry to tell you this but your (husband/son/etc) was killed today...

*silence*

this is what you will hear if Bush is re-elected. have a nice day"

this was reported on my local news I haven't found a link yet but this just makes my blood boil!!!!

You’re a Republican???

You’re a Republican???

In today’s America, ask a growing number of high school and college students; their teachers and professors; the self-anointed media elite and/or hard working men and women of all ethnicities, the question, “What is a Republican?”, and you’ll be told “… a rich, greedy, egotistical individual, motivated only by money and the desire to accumulate more and more of it, at the expense of the environment … the working poor ….and all whom they exploit…”

I am a Republican... )

do you ever wonder why you get stuck in the situations you do?

In my journalism class I've already had issues where I've kept my mouth shut and then ranted here(which I take it most of you didn't enjoy, but I'll try to remember to put it under a cut from now on) and I guess that proves I'm more hot headed than I'd like to admit. It happens... anywho

ok this is getting long and ranty so just in case. It isn't as much my political views as it is my ranting over a stupid project that is going to find me failing a class ugh!!! )
needless to say I have had bad luck in the past with group projects because I managed to always get in a group that couldn't get things done. This year seems to be no exception. At least we're arguing though... because normally I'm stuck doing the work and no one else is. I tried talking the teacher into letting me do something else but this is the big part of our grade so there's no way. and since this is my subject major I'm stuck with the TV part as Movies is full and overflowing with people in that group. I'm sunk....

sorry for the rant I just it irks me... there was more(they came up to me and tried to change my mind after class, talked down to me. I was born and raised 'rasslin with Bears. I have no time for weird people who think that by standing over me while I sit at a desk I will completely believe that they're God. Ain't happening!)

And I apologise about being all politic-y lately (especially to you Chele!) it's just between the people I mentioned above and all of the "plans" Kerry has I just see the Clinton/Gore mess in Alaska happening all over again and I really don't want to see that happening. It majorly sucked. My parents are just now getting back on their feet... and a lot of my life savings went into feeding us during those 8 years and I'm just afraid that it will happen again. Then where will my education be??? UGH so if I vent on you feel free to IM me a smack me a good one... LOL

but I'm keeping my icons LOL

Thursday Journalism

We watched a film on September 11th. It was the CBS special on the firefighters. I'd seen it before, and yet it really impacted me. My prof lost a family member in one of the towers. She then asked us if the media did a good job with 9-11. I wasn't so sure, I thought they did great with reporting it, but I didn't like how they bashed Bush after the first week. I thought they should have waited a bit longer because nothing like this had happened before, and it wasn't like he was hiding behind a desk. I didn't say anything as I didn't know the dynamics of the class but I was pretty sure I was in the minority when it came to political views.

Then we watch a long and very boring and completely stupid video on this media "guru" who felt that the REPUBLICAN government controlled the media and made sure that they looked better than the other people of the world. Last I checked it was totally the other way around. He also protested the Viet Nam war... I'm sorry but I have no time or love for people who did that. It's BECAUSE of jerks like them(Kerry included, I don't care if he somehow talked the military into a purple heart, coming back and INSULTING the troops proves just how much of a dick[sorry] he is!) My dad and his two brothers and my mother's two brothers were all in that war so don't TELL me that what they went through was pointless. Don't tell me they're murderers. You think that and you're as stupid as most everyone else. Did we play it out right, I doubt it, but don't you DARE blame the war on the troops!

So then we had to discuss this completely retarded thing... I was too pissed off to want to debate because anyone that agreed with the dork wasn't worth my time. So then this Norwegian gets on his high horse and said that it might not be the government but that Americans only cared about themselves and that's why our media is awful. (while I agree America looks out for number one it's not like we are not helping out all over the world, we just choose not to put it on TV. That's what the 'net is for) I didn't say anything during this class everything started my blood boiling a little bit more...

but the guy from Norway was the guy that got me most. Here is a guy who MY TAX DOLLARS are paying for to go to an AMERICAN school because he's on some foriegn exchange program. However AMERICA is the one who is stuck on itself? If we're SO bad why is his butt in MY AMERICAN CLASSROOM?????? I would be thanking each and everyone of the students there paying not only for their education but mine as well. It pissed me off. I am not saying that he shouldn't be there, I'm saying he was totally out of line. If we're so bad, stay out of the country. I wouldn't go to the middle east because I know and believe that it's dangerous and heck they hate Americans anyway... I definately wouldn't go there and insult them.

I'm sorry if this offends, it's just so stupid that we allow people in and they don't appreciate it, and then say AMERICA is uncaring UGH.
