Haven't done anything exciting...

I've been doing my best to not get sick, but last night I was defeated. I don't have a full blown cold but I just feel incredibly run down. The three day migraine hasn't helped, either. It's managable today, though. Which is good, because I don't want to miss another one of Edgar's classes. haha!

We're currently watching Salvador in class, it is not a very good film, if you ask me. Personally if a film only uses the same three swear words and very little else, it's not worth watching. My paper on the film will probably not be very good. Then again neither was my paper on Outfoxed. And before you think I just defended FoxNews, I didn't. I can't stand the program either, but I hate that the people on the movie said that Fox is the only biased network out there. It's like the kettle calling the pot black. That the press tries to say they don't push one candidate or agenda over another is absurd. In a perfect world journalism would stay neutral but it NEVER HAS. Look at how the Revolution was started, or just about every war we learn about in school. It starts with some big wig deciding to take a side. Why else would celebrities keep pushing in the news about Darfur? Duh! The news influences people to think whatever way the news wants. We're just dumb enough to take them as truth.

That was the gist of my paper, I have a feeling I'm going to get a poor grade for the first time in his class because we don't agree on that. I have come to the conclusion that in order to get a good grade in journalism courses you have to blindly follow and agree with the prof or you won't get far. So it won't surprise me if Edgar is the same as just about every other prof I've had in that department. The only one I didn't have to worry about was Prof. Dillehey, but I haven't taken from him since that one class (I don't even know if he's still in the program!).

I also have no doubt the main topic of class will be Ted Stevens' concession yesterday allowing Begich to become our newly elected senator. Personally I am disappointed in my state's voters for two reasons. 1. we voted in Begich who is a moron (and I don't base that on his politics. the man is a moronic jerk who is only in it for the spotlight) and 2. we almost voted in a convicted felon. There was a perfectly acceptable third choice, IMO, and he was the one I voted for. Bob Bird would stand for Alaska and was not backed by a party or cause. Unlike Begich who allowed the very people he's promising Alaskans he will stand up against. Yeah. Right. Like they're going to pay for you to disagree with them. Fat chance of that.

Oh well. Six years from now we'll be sick of him (save for the church of Begich known as Anchorage) and we'll have someone replace him. Who it will be, who knows, but this is the first time in 40 years we've had two weak senators... Murkowski's just as big a joke IMHO and she's a "Republican". I quit! lol

I just called down to WDW this morning and paid off our balance. You may be thinking that we'd already did that, and we had, but with the new promotion they've got out (buy 4 nights at a resort and 4 days worth of park admission get 3 free) we were holding out hope for getting a Moderate resort - specifically the Coronado Springs. As you might have read in my last journal update. I am so very excited to be going there again. I told Erin she has to take a picture of me giving the resort a big hug. I've missed it. I could stay there every time and not feel like I was missing out on a thing!

Gaylord is home. Not sure why. Either he is checking up on me to see if I actually leave the house, or he keeps peeing his pants because he keeps having to come home to "change". I'm not sure that that is all about, but it annoys me.

It also annoys me that Judy borrowed a few of my CDs and I haven't gotten them back even though I've asked her about them. Then I get woken up at midnight last night because Gaylord is working on a stupid slide show or something and what's playing? Josh GROBAN... and it's MY CD. All you have to do is ASK, but it's really annoying that she leant MY cd to him without even asking me when she knows I've been looking for my CDs. I have use for those disks too! BLAH.

Yes, I'm a selfish little brat, but I'm just asking for a little bit of respect. Though, I haven't been the best of buddies with either of them as of late. I'm getting really tired of Gaylord trying to be the "man of his domain" and telling Judy and I what to do. He hit the roof the other night when Judy snow blowed the drive way. He said he'd do it. Yeah, well, it'd been four days since it snowed and you still hadn't gotten off your fat duff so sit down and shut up. He started yelling at me that I should have done it before Judy did. Um. I was in class when she did it. And YOU kept saying that it was YOUR job. So I stayed out of it.

Apparently he doesn't get enough jollies or something or he'd shut up and leave me alone.

He also decided it was his duty to tell me I was spending my money unwisely and that I was an ungrateful person to use my parents money in the way I was. Meaning - I shouldn't go on this Disney trip (Judy wants to go on one with him and he isn't into the idea). I got REALLY snotty with him and told him that it was MY money and ONLY my money that I was using on this trip. I worked VERY hard this summer to get it (ok so not VERY) and I saved it FOR THIS PURPOSE. I also got permission from my PARENTS (even though I am 23 and therefore an adult that does not NEED it, I still ask for it) and JUDY (whom I still owe for the last trip). I paid off a vet bill, a dentist bill, and a couple of other things before I booked the trip. AND then there's the check that came in September from the State of Alaska that was over 2,000 big ones (plus 1200 energy check). That was MY money, not my parents. I'm not using money from school or anything. I said if anything Judy was the only one who had right to say I needed to give HER the money and not go on the trip.

Then he tried to be her proxy and suggest that's what I needed to do. Considering JUDY was the one who said I should do it if I could afford it at the beginning of the summer, I knew that was crap. And if she DOES truly feel that way she should come out and say it. She's looking forward to 12 days of just her and Gaylord in the house with the dogs. She hasn't been this excited to be rid of me in a while (which kinda hurts), so I somehow doubt she'd be happy if we canceled this trip and I gave her the money.

Then Gaylord plays the wounded dog card about how he doesn't know how to get me to like him and sends Judy to make things right. How about stay out of my buisness and stop trying to be all controlling? I'm a bull headed REITTER. We don't take other people's crap lying down. You are not the one that is 'over me'. I am not your daughter, nor am I your wife (EW). I don't need to be submissive to you. so stuff it.

Isn't it amazing that I can make such a long entry when I have nothing of interest to say. I should just stop talking. ha ha. so I will. Have a nice week everyone (since it's almost over!)

Nov. 6th, 2008

I am a Christian.

Flo - sorry for going all ranty in your journal entry. I know you didn't need to hear me vent... but it got my blood flowing big time so I'll continue it in here... I'm warning you all now. These are my opinions, take them or leave them. I know of only one or two people on my flist that will even try to agree with me on this, so I know I'm not popular in my thinking. But I haven't been popular since grammer school

I am a Christian. Southern Baptist by denomination, but at the end of the day my relationship is with Jesus Christ, what denomination I am a part of is pretty much irrelevant.

Being a Christian does not mean I am incapable of forming a well educated opinion or preference. I was raised to educate myself on the facts of an issue, and then weigh it against the Bible. The constitution never said that I could not or should not vote my religious beliefs. The Constitution was protecting the CHURCH from GOVERNMENT. They did not believe a political establishment should have reign over the body of believers. They didn't want a "Church of England" fiasco. They wanted to freely worship their God without worrying about having to be 'politically correct.'

It is my RIGHT to worship, practice, and believe as I do. To ask me to chuck it out the door when I enter the polling station is wrong and not American. I don't ask a Muslim, Hindu, or other religious group to do it - why am I the one that gets singled out because of MY beliefs?

I am a Christian. That doesn't mean I'm a bigot, racist, gay basher, abortion clinic bomber. I believe the Bible is 100% true and accurate. It does not contradict. It is the Word of God. I take it to be litteral. That means there are certain things that just aren't done. I don't make exceptions for "Christians" who do the "equibilant Christian sin" and I don't judge. I do vote for the Biblical principles. It's not popular, I get that, but I'm not doing it out of hate.

Believe me, if I could - I would. But I take my relationship, my "religion", seriously. If I have to choose between America or God, God wins EVERYTIME.

As a Christian American I am very proud to be in this country. We have - somewhat - religious freedoms that a lot of the World doesn't. I don't believe we had a perfect 8 years with Bush, I don't think he did everything the "Christian way" and I didn't vote for him just because he hung a cross on his wall. I don't know him personally and so I cannot judge him and say he is or he isn't. Just as I cannot with McCain or Obama - I have my opinions, but I cannot come out and proclaim them one way or the other.

In the last 48 to 72 hours I have seen a LOT of hate spewed my way because I'm a whining conservative Christian who wanted to vote in hate, war, and death. No, I'm not. I do stand behind what I said about America getting what she wanted. I do believe that God allowed Obama to win. I do believe that this is all ordained. Jury's still out on why. I was called a bigot by multiple people yesterday for a bill's passing that I had nothing to do with. I was called a racist just for being an outspoken Christian.

So far the change I've seen in this country is not bringing hope or peace or union. All it's brought is hate, and judgement, and frustration. This is not Obama's fault, but it certainly brings out the true colors of some.

I am pro-life. This does not mean that I have all the answers on abortion. I know that the Bible says it's wrong, that a life is a life the moment it's concieved and that taking a life without just cause is wrong. In my finite mind I cannot fathom having to make that choice as a woman raped, or choosing one life over the other. But = Jesus' example of dying on the cross for me is enough for me to know that sacrificing my body, my earthly life, so my child could live. With rape I know what the good answer is, but I cannot in my 'right mind' feel qualified to have that answer. In a perfect world the answer would be simple - then again in a perfect world rape wouldn't happen.

Pro-Life also goes along with the war issue and the death penalty. For me I think if war is justified then it's one of those nessecary evils. Same with the death penalty. Those who have yelled at me about these issues over the last 8 or so years screaming God hates _____ are right to some extent, but he didn't exclude them from His plans, or his laws. I do believe that the Iraq war could have been handled better. I think on some level it would be justified (as did both sides of government before they voted against it) I don't think we went at the right time. The war in Afganistan needed to be fought, we should have focussed on that.

I don't think any politico has all the answers. The only place I've found that does is the Bible, and even then I don't understand everything I'm reading. The Bible says that I won't be able to until the end of days. I will support the President elect, and I will certainly pray for him. That God gives him the strength and wisdom to lead our country. I was told yesterday on a certain message board that I was not allowed to do that - because I didn't vote for Obama. Obama said that he would be my President too. I am not going to take up the same approach that so many did with Bush with the "not my president" campaign. Because that seems silly. You're in the country this man is leading whether or not you like him. I know there are quite a few angry republicans out there who have already started that. Ok, we all get angry when our guy loses. But I think for any leader to really succeed he needs to know he has support.

I know in the coming weeks, months, and years I will not agree with everything our new leader does, says, or puts forth. I haven't done that with Bush either. I'm weary of where my life will change. I worry about certain freedoms. Not so much because it's Obama but because of who controls DC now. I'll speak out with what I don't agree with - as is my right - but Barack Obama was voted in by the people, and he is the one chosen to lead for the next 4 to 8 years. He has my support and my prayers.

Nov. 4th, 2008

A not to my fellow voters...

If your guy doesn't win, please don't move - you can vote again in 2 years for congressional people and they have more power in the long run anyway.

Besides, if you're voting McCain and he loses - DON'T move to Alaska like everyone is saying they will. 1. we don't want you, and 2. you think the US is bad when it comes to how little freedom we have anymore - Alaska is worse thanks to the liberal heads of DC...

so please. STAY AWAY from Alaska, and I'll speak for Canada too. We don't want you lol Disgruntled people that don't know how the way of life is up here don't need to come in here and muddy things up...

Happy voting day, everyone.

Mudslinging In A Galaxy Far, Far Away...

Okay, it's obvious where they were going with this, but I still find it fantasically funny.

Good luck to those who still have to vote tomorrow! May the right man for the job win.

Dark Day for Alaskan Politics.

Senator Ted Stevens has been found guilty of all seven charges brought against him. I didn't vote for him - voted for Bob Bird - in this election, but you never want to see someone who has been a champion of your state for so long actually be GUILTY of cheating.

No doubt he'll appeal, but the end of his career is pretty much here.

Prayers go out to the Stevens family.

Oct. 19th, 2008

I can't believe I forgot to say...

That I voted via absentee last week! I voted for an Alaskan Independant for the first time (which many will say I just threw away a very important vote, but the only way we will really see change is if we the voters quit playing the two party game and actually vote for the BEST candidate regardless of party lines). I didn't mark anyone down for Congressman. I don't think either one is worthy of a vote... so in that I did throw away my vote. I guess for "party reasons" I'm hoping Don Young wins, but at the same time I don't want either in DC... so honestly I don't know what I feel/think on the matter.

I have yet to actually vote and get a sticker for my good citizenship. That is the one downside of voting absentee. I want my "I Voted" sticker, dang it!

Oh well, I've done my duty, I'll see you in two years.

*sings* Citizens gather from both far and near, for a ritual we practice every four years...

Jul. 18th, 2008

Obama - let's really look at the issues.

Obama is upset that the GOP is 'attacking' his wife and using her as one of the reasons not to vote for him for president. Sorry, Obama, but if you're going to let her do speeches and run along with you and campaign, people are going to scrutinize everything she does just like they would anyone else in your campaign.

I find it ironic and yet so... typical... that he came out and said democrats *rarely* stoop so low in their tactics. Um. Hi. The Bush Twins have been under constant media scrutiny since AT LEAST the war - "why aren't THEY in the armed forces" (because there isn't a draft you idiots, just like everyone else in America you can CHOOSE to sign up or not!).

Do I agree with attacking a politician's family - no. But I've not seen any true attacks on Michelle - attacks on her thoughts/politics, yeah. And I see no problem in that.

Suck it up, Barak!

Oh, SNAP!

I am not a big supporter of anyone for President at the moment, but I just saw a clip of John McCain's recent NBC interview and I LOVE IT!

"Senator Obama says that I'm running for Bush's third term, but it seems he's running for Carter's second."

hee hee!

Feb. 27th, 2008

To the Person who is overzealous with their Obama stickers...

... please do not tape them to my mailbox or my fence. It's not public property. In the case of the fence it's PRIVATE property. In the case of the mailbox it's the Federal Government's property, and Obama hasn't been elected yet, so his name does no belong on the box.

I'm all for representing your candidate. Good for you that you have a clear cut favorite. But DO NOT vandelize my property. I will not vote for your candidate is it is my right and choice... and your stickers just make me want to vote for him even less. If you are the kind of person he's allowing to represent him, then he can shove it.

In that same strain, someone please tell Obama's automated phone calls to PLEASE STOP CALLING. It's not that we don't want to hear the voice of the real campaign people, we don't want to solicitation PERIOD! Even Hillary's camp finally got the hint!

The Ban Was Officially Lifted Today... (political entry ahead)

So yeah I am a bad girl and I haven't been paying attention to the Southern Baptist Convention stuff, but it was just talked about on the local news so I figured I might want to talk about it.

After 8 years we are officially offing the ban on Disney. This does not surprise me as I think the ban was lifted several years ago just not officially. As everyone knows I'm a huge fan of Disney. I've been to Disney World twice, Disney Land once, and I own a lot of Disney crap. LOL I LOVE Disney. Do I agree with their stance on homosexuality. No. But I haven't banned my country either.

So I am happy to say that I am not "going against the Baptists" any longer. I agree that we should still watch out for what they are trying to fill our kids' heads, but I've never fully agreed with their ban. But that was mostly because I love Disney, not because I didn't think it was a right thing to do.

To read an article on it click here.

Go to the end of the article... UNLESS you want to read some quotes by my pastor on a seperate issue... it's cool. The issue at hand has him totally pissed off, so it's good to see him get quoted for it. I'm not sure if he's going to go with the story to the secular media or not... if they didn't do what he wanted he threatened to throw a major fit (in all honesty his feelings are valid... there are some secretaries of Board members with higher salaries than the profs at different Baptist colleges and he wants to know why...)

anyway that's all I want to say I have to print this out for dad, he's the pastor of the evening and people will want to see this! :)

Jun. 12th, 2005

So yeah I have nothing really to say...

but I can't seem to stop talking...

I am so sick of the liberal groups that feel like attacking one of their own, and one of my "career heroes." Steven Spielberg is being critisized this week because it's been 30 years since JAWS came out and it's "because of him and his movie" that there are fewer sharks and more shark killings. Because he "unfairly portrays great whites." I agree, Bruce was a pathetic excuse for a shark. LOL His rubber jaw, his fakeness. But it was the best special effects of its time. YES a lot of people are freaked out of the water/sharks because of that film. One of my friends mom's is deathly afraid of the water. But she was a young girl when she saw it. Not an adult. Grow up and realize shark fishing is fun for some. We're not fishing them because Spielberg told us to! *hugs Spielberg* Congrats on 30 years of amazing success in movie making, Mr. Spielberg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Green peace annoys me to no end. For crying outloud Spielberg's as bleeding heart as they come. I think he's cruel for portraying T-Rex as a meat eating monster! I should sue! LOL The stupidity of these claims is just so freaking annoying. I'm sure Alien Activists will be all over him for is portrayl of eville aliens in War of the Worlds. ;) Actually maybe all of them attacking him will make him realize he votes for the wrong side and he should turn Republican. Hey. I can dream ;)

ok so that's all I wanted to rant about... I leave you with the latest star wars quiz! )

oops, almost forgot, some of the quotes were not guessed yet:

2. "I'm your wife! I'm the greatest good you're ever going to get!"
7. "I've worn lots of shoes. I bet if I think about it real hard I could remember my first pair of shoes."
17. A: "We were baptizing Henry Clay." B: "Baptising Henry Clay?" A: "Yes. And he must have been awful bad, because it took two dunks to save him!"
18. "Like if you shoot yourself in the foot? Don't do it. You'd be dead before you realized you'd accidentally pulled the trigger."

School and other Ramblings

I am sooooooooooooooo glad Spring Break is finally here. I wish it'd been this week. I seriously could not get excited about school at all this week.

I am skipping my only class of the day(hey the other two classes were cancelled and the one class I have is an hour and a half long, and is a breeze) because I really don't want to get dressed for one class. I am just that lazy and bad. LOL

Worlds is so exciting when you get up at 6am to chat with people at 7am. And when Hez, Flo, Mel, Jules, Brenda, and others are there... well it makes it that much more fun! I can't believe that teh skating season will be *over* after this week. I remember this time last year I was so freakingly excited for it to happen because I was going to nationals and everything... and it felt like Jan would never come, and now we're in mid-March! It's CRAZY...

I'm going to Kenai for Spring Break next week. Should be fun. I guess. Without Erin OR Kassy though I don't know what I'll be up to. Maybe I'll go bug Miss Joy everyday. That is always fun. And I can get the church website up and running. Because I can bug Pastor Dean into writing his bio.

Yuka is being SO CUTE right now that I can hardly stand it. She's sleeping so sweet that I just want to wake her up and cuddle her. But I will be good and will not do that. But I want to... I really really want to....

I am very confused. On my Dish stuff it says Figure Skating is on ESPN right now, but it's Baseball crap. I hate baseball. As I said before, the only real sport is Figure Skating. And neither Brenda nor Jules can change my mind. Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, etc, they are all wannabe sports. LOL

Yuka is snoring and now she is barking in her sleep which is more like squeaking... too too TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!! I love her! Must control urge to cuddle! :|

I was going to say more but Yuka is distracting when she is so cute... and I forgot

oh wait... I was going to gush about ANWR getting passed in congress yesterday. Ok it's the first step, but whether you like it or not this is GREAT news for my state. Our economy desperately needs this, and unlike the beliefs of Petter Jennings and Co. it will not distroy the wildlife. ANWR is bigger than what they actually want to dig in. and ANWR itself doesn't make up a big percentage of Alaska. And did I mention the state NEEDS some source of income as the 48 states that have total control over the "youngest" 2 states take most gov. funding and we're left with the crappy left overs?

sorry for the semi-rant, but this is great news for Alaska, and if you don't like it oh well, you don't live up here! LOL

I love my state

SNL missed the mark

that had to have been the most BORING presidential bash EVER... the only highlights were when they went back to the past bashes... because the stuff they showed for this years election sucked... sure they did great hitting both candidates below the belt... but if I wanted to watch the debates over I'd have taped them, ya know? Neither one of the comics really were anything special... I miss Will Ferral's version of Bush... and while I know Kerry is BO-RING they really could have found a way around it (they did for Gore and Clinton!)

Dana Carvey still rules all when it comes to making fun of the presidents! He'll go down in history for his portrayal of former President Bush....

oh well... one hour down the tubes... now I'm watching a rerun of FRIENDS which is way more enjoyable

vote tomorrow...

I got my nationals tickets in teh mail today... WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!

Almost Vacation Time!!!

Mom came up Friday night to pick up Yuka and take her down to Kenai... we caught the UAA musical "1776" (ok so it was originally a broadway musical, but the UAA Theatre troupe is performing it now) it was really good. If you ever get a chance to see the musical DO. It's a great script, great music (there is one song that had a subtle political message, but unless you're a republican you probably wouldn't even care ha ha!) it was great. My one problem with it is it's 3 hours and they started at 8pm... ICK...

Then this morning Yuka and mom headed home. I miss my puppy. I cried after they left. I am really emo right now and so it's effecting a lot of things (namely school). I am SOOOOOOOOO ready for vacation. I think it will help. And then after Disney World Valerie gets married!!! I am going to be so emo-ed out! ha ha! :) She's a close friend and I love her so much (ok so I have never met Nate, but that's not *my* fault...) I feel honored to help her by photographing it. Got the "go ahead" from Tasha Grossl to do whatever Val wants as long as I don't get in the way of her camera ha ha!!! I love Tasha. She rocks! :)

My period started a couple of days ago and it's the worst I've had in a VERY long time, which I don't know if it is causing my emoness or it's being caused by my emoness... or stress... I dunno but I feel awful today... *sigh* so I didn't go to the costume party which I was looking forward to. I just didn't feel up to it. But I will be heading off to church in the morning. As if I wasn't sick enough of politics it's "Candidate Sunday" at ABT so I get to see my g'ma's old boyfriend (Congressman Don Young... in high school he dated my g'ma.) Isn't that random? ha ha. She calls him Donny. He's great. So I get to go through all of that, but it's ok because my new church rocks and I feel way more at home... Dr. Prevo is a great guy and has really helped with my transition even though it's a huge church it really feels small and homey. It's great. Thank you to all who have prayed that I find a church here and continue to pray that I get to know more people and get some lasting friendships. I NEED that right now. You all here are great but you're a bit far away to hang out with on Friday nights ha ha!!! (though chatting is never bad I DO like to go out to a movie and such! ;))

Monday I have to pack. Tuesday I have an exam in teh morning and then I am HOME FREE BABY! I am flying out on Wednesday but I am going to skip my evening class... I want to watch the election unfold...

SPEAKING OF ELECTION (and please don't be offended) VOTE BUSH! Even if you don't like him, because if Kerry wins my whole stinking vacation will be ruined. (hey, it's for only 4 years, and if you love me...) <---if only it were that simple haha!

I fly out on the red eye Wednesday (technically Thursday) and will be travelling ALL STINKIN DAY on an airplane... pray it stays up there and that I don't get sick... I will HOPEFULLY have email and will check in, but don't count on it. (Heather I may email you and use you has my messanger if I have to ha ha!)

anyway that's it from me for right now... will chat at ya laterz!

This disturbs me....

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/news/WABC_100304_middleschoolteacher.html

A teacher puts up a montage of all the Presidents and includes Bush because, surprise, he is the President. Some parents get up in a tizzy demanding Kerry be put up (despite the fact he is not a President) and the principal ultimately takes the keys from the teacher and kicks her out of school. If you are as disgusted by this as I am, call the Principal Jim Warfel at 732-329-4633.

found this on LJ and I just can't believe it... had we had this issue 4-8 years ago and the teacher wanted to put Clinton on the wall no one would have objected... but since it's Bush (ie Republican) it's somehow a no no? oy.

Mr. Dunn tried to pull similar crap (and is still trying) but most of the teachers tell him to get off his high horse...

The Group Presentation Saga continues

Ok so we're off the Bush took over Al-Qaeda and bombed his own country bit. And for some reason Dan Rather didn't come up (will refrain from saying something on that whole thing... for now)... now the weird lady wants to hold a funeral for television. While I do like the idea she was fixated on the television's spirit. It's her "thinking out of the box" fixation. Tonight her whole thing is that we "shouldn't be scared to get a bad grade" because that's teh school's form of censorship... Censorship or not... with a class over 200 bucks I'm sucking up and getting a good grade so I don't have to RETAKE the freakin class!!!

Her whole thing was really good until the end... we'd talk about how TV got started and then go into present day TV... (with commercials with bidding and some fear factor mixed in... and something else I will rant on about in a few minutes [all of that was stupid but still the basic idea was good]) then we'd go into where the "specialists" were predicting where TV would go. This is where she planned to hold the funeral and have someone play the spirit of TV and we'd some how hoist the spirit up to the ceiling...

then one of the things we'd talk about is the shock factor... and she wanted to show the footage of the people's being beheaded. And she was saying BUSH was cold hearted???????????????????????????????????????? I kept saying I'd refuse to do something like that. She said I needed to GROW UP. That I shouldn't push my beliefs on her(she also wanted nudity for some reason, no clue why... something about SNL??) and I was like... ok so how come *MY* beliefs and opinions don't count? What about the rest of the group... the woman's boyfriend was even on our side tonight... it was so insane!!! She said she loved how TV has become shocking... hmmmmmmmm no I don't think I want to relive someone's head being sawed off(I haven't seen the footage, BUT I didn't need to, she went into graphic detail)... September 11th is about all I can handle... and I can only handle stills of that(AT BEST) before I get pissed and I'm ready to lay waste to all of that area of the world or I just feel sick(and sometimes both).

So yeah we told her she was off her rocker and we're going with the original idea BUT we will talk about the history of TV... our "Jay Leno" will interview the past, present and future of TV...

we'll see... we have 2 and a half months so ... keep praying I'm ready to tear my hair out...

In other news
I am going down to Kenai for the weekend... I'm excited!! I miss home.. I know people there LOL I'm going to drop in on some of my teachers... and then on Miss Joy and Pastor Dean... then on Sat who knows what I'll do... and then Sunday I get to go to MY CHURCH!!! I have NEVER missed it so much...

I'll try and keep up with all of you while I'm down there...

I'm also not looking forward to voting for the Alaskan senator... *sigh* Murkowski votes more like a democrat than a republican... and KNOWLES--while the only democrat in Alaska I like--would swing the democrats back into power in the senate... so I can't vote for him... not only that but the only reason he's gotten the attention of the democrat national party is because he can swing the power... he didn't vote for Gore--voted for Bush as far as I know--but he's still not a republican! LOL

but whatever... I'm tired of Knowles vs Murkowski... wish her dad would stop playing governer and take back his senate seat... rather be able to have Knowles in the governer's house down in Juneu forever than have him in senate... but he served his 8 years(right along with Clinton YEUCH) and now we don't have that option... :-p

ok I am going to surf a bit more and then I'm going to sleep.. leaving in the morning! love you all!

OH! and CSI rocked out tonight! WOOT WOOT!
